Why you should not use laptop keyboard to increase typing speed !

It is true that a softer keyboard can allow much higher speeds but, they also increase the risk of RSI-associated(A repetitive strain injury (RSI), sometimes referred to as repetitive stress injury, is a gradual buildup of damage to muscles, tendons, and nerves from repetitive motions. RSIs are common and may be caused by many different types of activities, including: using a computer mouse. typing) injuries. Back in the days when people had to pound away on mechanical typewriters, RSI didn’t exist.

Mechanical keyboard

From my perspective, an ideal keyboard uses switches that require >35g actuation pressure (50g is usually recommended), and the key should then “collapse” under your finger capable of at least 4mm of travel. That does not mean that it must travel the full 4mm in order to register but, the “collapse” is what tells you that the key has registered.

This is why Cherry-based mechanical keyboards remain in demand, and it is even possible to purchase “new” IBM Model-M Extended (buckling spring) keyboards from the UK—they’re not really IBM. It’s another company that bought the rights.

As long as each keytop is sufficiently sculpted to guide the fingers (none of those totally flat chiklet things thanks), you should be able to achieve a reasonable speed. Improving the quality of the keyboard will improve the quality of your typing. The majority of laptops use membrane keyboards which provide little to no feedback. This results in an unsatisfactory typing experience which in turn affects typing speed. If you are a fast typer, you will be better off using a separate mechanical keyboard.

pleasure to only one night,
but mentally beautiful women gives you pleasure for lifetime.

It's a good idea to accept the person who is beautiful from the mind"
